Mandy May has been honored by the New York Improvised Film and Theatre Festival with an award for International Achievement in Improvised Film for her work on two improvised shorts and an improvised web series in New York. She also received an ACT-CO Adjudicator's Award Nomination for her work with Scarborough Players for her Comedic Performance as Sandy in the Norm Foster play Bedtime Stories.
Mandy May trained in comedy at the infamous Second City Training Centre in Toronto, Canada - home to such comedy legends as Mike Myers, John Candy, Andrea Martin, and Dan Akroyd. Mandy went on to train in New York at the Upright Citizen's Brigade which was founded by Amy Poehler and is the current hot bed for comedic writers and actors in New York. She further studied with John Charles Murphey who was trained and mentored by Michael Checkhov at the HB Studios in New York, and was herself mentored by Michael Bowen-Horn son of Roger Bowen one of the originators of the Second City in Chicago.

Mandy Mayhem is not your typical musical performer. Her on stage antics have generated awards and press. She has been featured on Much Music's 'The New Music' as part of a special on the Hip Hop Karaoke Phenomenon. Mandy May has developed a following as a Hip Hop Karaoke Artist in London, England, New York, Los Angeles and Toronto, and is the three-time Canadian champion as judged by such legendary artists as DAS EFX, Michie Mee, Scratch (The Roots), Lords of the Underground and Master T. She has appeared at legendary venues including the ROXY in LA, B.B. King's in Times' Square, NY, and The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, Canada.
She has appeared as the host of the Bizzare Ride Fest at The Roxy in Los Angeles opening for the Bizzare Ride Tour featuring members of The Pharcyde.

Mandy May Cheetham has trained cheerleaders in 14 countries including the National teams in China and Finland.
Mandy has also choreographed for major motion pictures including 'It's a Boy/Girl Thing" and National commercials for Playtex and Best Buy and worked as a consultant for cheerleader casting and cheerleader wardrobe.
Her choreography skills extend beyond cheerleading into hip hop, competitive jazz and musical theatre.
Mandy May's Musical Theatre training began at the Toronto Island School where she participated in two large scale productions each year from Kindergarten to Grade 8 including Really Rosie, and The Muppets Take the Island, in high school where she played in Grease, Annie and The Odd Couple and tried her hand at directing for the first time.
Today Mandy has studied Musical Theatre vocal technique with Elaine Overholt, and continues to do plays such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat where she played Brother Dan in 2011.
